Dear TRIO Community Member:
It is difficult for most of us to get our minds around the level of destruction confronting the folks who live along a large section of the Gulf Coast. TRIO people are, by nature, generous people, and many of us are trying to find the best ways to assist relatives, friends and colleagues. One way to help members of our own community is through the Council?s newly-established TRIO Hurricane Relief Fund. Nate Easley, associate vice president for academic affairs, is the relief coordinator. He will be working with TRIO personnel from the affected areas and states to ensure that the aid is delivered directly to those who need it most.
