Student Leaders

Student Leaders at the 2004 Leadership Conference in Utah at Dixie State College.
This is a Student Leadership Congress. Would any of your students like to help run the conference? We need students to host government leaders, conduct meetings, entertain, plan, take pictures, direct students and just help keep things moving smoothly. Do you have students will special talents? Contact Kimberly Coon ASAP! Kimberly will work with them prior to the congress via email or phone.
TRiO Staff
Would you like to learn how to facilitate the bill writing model for the Mock Congress Program? There are 10 openings for the training on November 1st. Once you are trained, you will get to take 8-10 students through the model. This is the same training the staff receives for the National Student Leadership Congress. The Constitution Project was created by Greg Timmons and Debra Pollard. The training of the students will be about 4 hours over the 3 days. We encourage staff to participate, as this is information you can use to fortify your student leaders in your programs. Contact Kim Coon if you are interested.
